Phillip Fristoe

President/Owner

As a successful homebuilding professional for over 20 years in the Dallas area, Phillip Fristoe continues a family tradition of accomplished real estate involvement by forming his own company, Phillip-Jennings Custom Homes (PJCH).

Surrounded by immediate family members in real estate and homebuilding it was no surprise when Mr. Fristoe decided to enter the realm of homebuilding after graduating from Texas Tech University with a degree in business management and a secondary focus in architecture. The outstanding and rapid achievements that he accomplished during his first decade in the home building business were not surprising either. Starting in homebuilding at the field level and expeditiously working his way through the ranks to a Vice President's capacity, with a systematically organized, large regional homebuilder. The obvious success of organized process’ and procedures, which Fristoe learned in the early years of his building industry career, have created the foundation for which he has based his companies philosophy.

By adhering to a strong work ethic, a pursuit of perfection and a passion for architecture, Phillip has earned the reputation for being a resource in construction management and design. "Phillip can always be counted on to provide an excellent product with a thorough analysis of style, design and quality considered on every project," states Mr. Glenn Gehan, Principal of Gehan Homes, Inc. and long time investor in PJCH. "He consistently manages at an exceptionally high level and gives special attention to each endeavor."

Although Fristoe has managed the completion of hundreds of homes in the North Dallas area with his former employer, he has since gained a specific knowledge of the Preston Hollow, Bluffview and Park Cities luxury housing sub-markets as a builder in these areas for over 12 years. As a current resident of Preston Hollow and former University Park resident, Fristoe has direct ties to the community and enjoys being an integral part of the continued neighborhood improvements. He also keeps up to date on market trends and opportunities through expanded relationships in the local real estate community and direct family ties to real estate and homebuilding in these same areas.

"Real estate and construction is always a topic of conversation at family gatherings," states Mr. Fristoe. "Being able to share and discuss industry specific information amongst family enables each of us to draw on ideas that ultimately benefit our clientele." The rich history in real estate that envelopes his family combined with a personal passion for architecture is the same spirit that compelled Fristoe to start his own company, concentrating on the specialized market of high-end luxury homebuilding.

Mr. Fristoe states the objective of his company, PJCH, as being a specific focus on “perfecting the art of homebuilding by creating homes rich in style and character that exceed the expectations of a very discerning clientele." PJCH has established itself as a locally recognized source for luxury custom homes and as such was awarded a spot on D Home Magazine's, "Best Builders" list for the fourth year running, along with a recent ARC award for best contemporary over 2M. Tastefully combining stylish architecture, thoughtful interior design and unique characteristics with modern day construction materials/methods, is the result of continuous research, as well as over two decades of personal experience as a building professional. Thus, years of history in real estate, quality construction practices, exclusive locations, functional designs and the always paramount client satisfaction set Phillip Jennings Custom Homes apart from the competition in the Park Cities, Preston Hollow and Bluffview areas.
